TOMBALL, TX: Santa Claus is coming to meet all the good girls and boys at LSC-Creekside Center on Wednesday, December 7, from 6-8 pm. At the event, children can have their picture taken with Old Saint Nick, give him their present wish list, and enjoy holiday activities and sweets.
“People love this holiday and the visit with Santa,” said Janna Hoglund, LSC Tomball Community Library director. Santa’s visit brings people to the library and gives us all a chance to share the holiday with our community.”
This year’s event, which is Santa’s third visit to the LSC-Creekside Center, is special, because this year there will be a holiday present for the community – the newly opened HCPL Children’s Library at LSC-Creekside Center. The children’s library possesses a large collection of books for children (picture book, fiction, non-fiction). The 1000 books prior to Kindergarten program is also available to for those interested. The library features a children’s play area, offers children’s craft sets for library or home use, and will eventually offer children’s story times.
“Santa’s visit is the perfect opportunity for parents and children of the Creekside Park community and beyond to come and enjoy the library,” said Hoglund. “It is a special holiday time, and we hope that people can come together and share in the magic.”
The HCPL Children’s Library at LSC-Creekside Center is regularly open to the public Monday to Thursday 10am-6pm. In addition to the children’s library resources, customary library services such as, library account creation, issue of library cards, and book holds are also available.
