Kick off 2017 at Lone Star College-CyFair with eMedia, solar power and Lunar New Year programs.

The Learning, Inspiration, Friendship and Enrichment (L.I.F.E.) programs in January are free and held Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the library (Room 131 unless otherwise noted) at 9191 Barker Cypress. There will be no workshop Jan. 4.

•               Jan. 11 - eMedia or Bust
  Start the new year right with free ebooks from the library. Join Librarian Dorrie Scott to learn how to tap into the library’s eBooks, eAudio, movies, magazines, and comics.
•             Jan. 18 - Going Solar at LSC-CyFair
  Dean Kelly Gernhart reveals the often untapped value of solar power past, present and future. Wear your walking shoes and see how Lone Star College-CyFair uses our brightest star.
•              Jan. 25 - The Year of the Chicken
  Circulation assistant Huyen Doan starts the Lunar New Year celebrations with Vietnamese egg rolls and rice chicken soup (Chao Ga).
