Lone Star College Foundation will hold its 29th annual golf tournament Monday, Nov. 14, at The Woodlands Country Club. The tournament is a major fundraising event that helps change lives through student scholarships and quality educational programs.
"PBK Architects are proud to support Lone Star College Foundation as we partner in shaping the next generation of future learners,” said Alan Stilts, PBK Architects, Golf Tournament Chair. “Our hope is that through the opportunity of education, students will realize their full potential.”
Golfers will be able to choose between playing on either the Palmer Course designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer or the Tournament Course which hosts the annual PGA Tour Champions Insperity Invitational.
“This tournament offers a wonderful opportunity to support education in our community,” said Nicole Robinson Gauthier, CFRE, LSC Foundation Executive Director. “We are so appreciative of the assistance shown by businesses and individuals who are dedicated to helping our Lone Star College students succeed.”
The tournament includes a shot gun start, as well as hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to the pin contests. A dinner and awards ceremony follow the tournament. Proceeds will go toward tuition scholarships, emergency aid relief or textbook funds,
“Lone Star College Foundation makes it possible for so many students to advance their education and I personally feel privileged to partner with them in serving as chair for this important annual golf tournament to help the college and the Foundation achieve that goal,” said Stilts.
