In April, two separate community forums have been set for North Harris College’s Carver and Parkway Centers. Debra Harper, NHC’s dean over both satellite campuses, cordially invites the public to come meet the administrators and staff as well as hear about the programs and services available to the public. The intimate forums are also designed to be inclusive by having community residents and businesses share their needs and ideas with college staff. Refreshments will be served at both events.
On Thursday, Apr. 19, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. the North Harris College Carver Center and the African American Chamber of Commerce co-host the first Community Forum in the Carver Center commons area, 2330 S. Victory Street. Call 281.260.3892 by April 10 for reservations. Or contact trina.w.lowery@lonestar.edu for more information.
