Think you missed your chance to start college this fall? Everybody deserves a second chance. While registration for Lone Star College-North Harris' traditional 16-week semester ended on Aug. 23, the college offers SecondStart classes with start dates beginning in mid September through late October. SecondStart-classes range from four, five, seven and eight weeks in length. Students may register up to the first day of class and complete their course by mid December or earlier depending on the course's length and start date.

A wide variety and levels of SecondStart classes are offered. Courses are designed to fit a broad range of academic goals toward certificates, associate's degrees or university transfer.

Students can attend SecondStart classes at LSC-North Harris or the college's two full-service satellite centers, LSC-Greenspoint Center and LSC-Carver Center. For more information, call the college's office of admissions 281.618.5410.
