Enjoy an unforgettable choral and instrumental evening Dec. 2 with “Carmina Burana” at Lone Star College-CyFair.
“In this classic, the theme is spring, wine, love and all things symbolic of divine creativity. It is the triumphant celebration of life,” said Alex Qian, LSC-CyFair’s artistic director of vocal activities. “With its famous pounding, rock-inspired rhythms and lyric beauty, Carl Orff’s powerful and dramatic ‘Carmina Burana’ promises an evening to remember.”
In addition to LSC-CyFair’s Concert Choir, audiences will hear the college’s Symphonic Band percussionists as well as the Blue Sky Children’s Choir.
The 7:30 p.m. performance will be held in the Main Stage Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.
Tickets are $15 general admission and $10 for seniors and students with valid id. Group discounts are available.
