HOUSTON (August 28, 2018) – While many students have already started fall classes, it is not too late for other Houstonians interested in joining in through the Lone Star College-North Harris' “Late Start” option. In addition to the traditional 16-week semester courses that started Monday, LSC-North Harris offers numerous 4-week to 15-week Late Start classes at their 195-acre campus in north Houston.
LSC-North Harris offers a wide variety of subjects, courses, and start dates. Classes open for enrollment under the Late Start option go well beyond the basics. Thanks to an experienced faculty, LSC-North Harris is able to offer Late Start classes in the following subjects: Art, Chemistry, Economics, Government, History, Mathematics, Music, Nutrition, Public Speaking, Philosophy, Psychology, Reading, Sign Language, Sociology, Spanish, Writing, and more.
Late Start classes begin throughout the semester, offering a convenient alternative for students who need flexible scheduling to pursue their education. Classes offered in person, online, and in hybrid formats for added convenience, and students can take classes during the day, at night, and on the weekends.

14-week Late Start classes start Sept. 10
12-week Late Start classes start Sept. 24
8-week Late Start classes start Aug. 27 and Oct. 22
7-week Late Start classes start Sept. 7 and Oct. 15
6-week Late Start classes start Oct. 22 and Nov. 5
5-week Late Start classes start Aug. 27, Oct. 1, Nov. 6, and Apr. 12
4-week Late Start classes start Aug. 27 and Sept. 24
