Lone Star College–Tomball to hold Financial Aid Fair
Lone Star College–Tomball will hold its annual Financial Aid Fair on Thursday, February 1, from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. in room N103 in the Commons area.
Representatives from several lending institutions will be available to assist students and to answer questions about financial aid. College financial aid advisers will be on hand to guide student in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
In addition, VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) will be available to help students and parents with income tax forms.
A videoconference on how to fill out FAFSA will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. The video will be available in English (in the Teaching Theater) and in Spanish (in E163). Those who stay for the entire video and complete an evaluation are eligible to enter a statewide drawing for a $500 scholarship.
The Financial Aid Fair is free and open to all students and parents. Door prizes will be awarded. For more information, please call 281-357-3731.
