Students looking to earn a bachelor’s or master’s degree are encouraged to attend an information session at Lone Star College-University Center at The Woodlands Sept. 20, from 4 - 7 p.m.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for students and parents to meet with our university partners and learn about what their options are,” said Rebecca Duncan-Ramirez, LSC University Center executive director. “This event will help students find the right pathway to a four-year degree.”
Advisors from LSC university partners will be present to discuss what programs are offered and then assist students in developing a plan to obtain a four-year degree. The event will also include refreshments, door prizes and an I-Pad give-away.
Universities scheduled to attend include Lamar University, National American University, Our Lady of the Lake University, Sam Houston State University, Stephen F. Austin University, University of Houston Northwest, University of Houston Downtown Northwest and the University of St. Thomas.
“Lone Star College is a leader in providing high quality, affordable higher education. Many Lone Star College students will start here and complete two years of study, then transfer to one of our university partners – saving them a substantial amount of tuition in the process” said Duncan-Ramirez.
