The National Association of Campus Auxiliary Services (NACAS) awarded the Regional Rising Star Award to Daniel Erickson, Lone Star College senior associate vice chancellor, Administrative Services. NACAS is a professional trade association that supports the non-academic segment of higher education responsible for generating business through a diverse array of campus services that students need and value.
“We are very proud of Daniel’s recognition,” said Kristy Vienne, Ed.D., CASP, LSC vice chancellor, Finance and Administration/CFO. “His commitment to ensuring our students have the resources necessary to succeed demonstrates his dedication to the One LSC belief.”
The Rising Star Award recognizes one individual in an auxiliary service unit or central management organization who has provided excellent services and has demonstrated the ability and desire to excel in the field of auxiliary services management. Erickson received the award during the NACAS, South Regional conference.
“Daniel is able to take strategic actions that enhance both, student success and the functional areas under his supervision,” said Vienne.
