Fall 2023 Best in Show was "Ripples" by Alyssa Fields.

Lone Star College-CyFair creative students and designers will feature and model their truly imaginative visual and wearable artistry at the opening reception and awards ceremony of the spring Student Art Showcase April 25.

“Our Bosque Gallery’s tradition of displaying the amazing talent we have in our Art Department with our semi-annual student exhibition never fails to impress,” said Natalie Stovall, LSC-CyFair Assistant Professor of Art/Design. “And the wearable creations excitement continues with double the fun and participants in the Alternative Media Fashion and Wearable Ceramic and Sculpture Art Fashion Show kicking off our end-of-the semester exhibition.”

Attend Thursday’s 6:30 p.m. reception, which includes the opportunity to visit with student artists and designers about their inspired and one-of-kind pieces as well as to peruse and purchase award-winning artwork in two- and three-dimensional design, photography, ceramics, drawing, painting and color theory.

See the upcoming Student Art Showcase on display through May 2 and come back for the Bosque Gallery’s summer exhibition from June 6 to July 3 featuring local sculpture artist Brendan Flores, who is known for creating unique free-standing and wall-hanging 3D works.
