Due to the unavailability of the scheduled speaker, the Feb. 12 Talk at Lone Star College System Office has been cancelled.
The Lone Star College-Montgomery Accounting Club, Entrepreneurship Institute and Entrepreneurship Club was scheduled to host Bill Sherrill, former Federal Reserve Board governor, who was to speak on “An Assessment of the U.S. Economy in 2009.” The event was scheduled for Thursday, February 12, with a 6 p.m. “meet and greet” with Sherrill, followed by his 6:30 p.m. presentation in the Board Room at the Lone Star College System Office, located at 5000 Research Forest Drive in The Woodlands.
No new date for a re-scheduled talk has been decided at this point.
