Lone Star College-CyFair will host a Technical Careers and Skilled Trades Career Fair from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. April 15.

All veteran candidates will be offered early admission to the career fairs from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. to engage and network with employers and veteran organizations.

“Lone Star College is committed to success by training tomorrow’s workforce and then assisting them to find meaningful employment,” said Linda Head, associate vice chancellor of workforce education and corporate partnerships. “This is also a great way for job seekers to hone their job interview skills in a friendly environment.”Students and community job seekers will have the opportunity to connect with potential companies. The career fair will have various employers on hand to discuss employment opportunities within their organizations, benefits, job requirements, skills being sought, prerequisites and more.

A resume is required for admission and job seekers are urged to bring multiple copies that can be left with employers. They are also encouraged to dress professionally as on-site interviews may take place.

LSC-CyFair offers programs in workforce technical services careers such as Energy/Oil & Gas Technologies, Engineering Technologies, AutoCad Draftsman/Solid Model Design, Manufacturing/CNC, Machining and Geographic Information Systems.
