Think you missed your chance to start college this spring? Everybody deserves a second chance. While registration for North Harris College’s traditional 16-week semester ended on Jan. 13, the college offers SecondStart classes with start dates beginning in late January, February, and March. SecondStart-classes range from four, five, seven and eight weeks in length. Students may register up to the first day of class and complete their course by the end of May or earlier depending on the course’s length and start date.

A wide variety and levels of SecondStart classes are offered. Courses are designed to fit a broad range of academic goals toward certificates, associate’s degrees or university transfer.

Students can attend SecondStart classes at North Harris College and the college’s two full-service satellite centers, North Harris College Parkway Center and North Harris College Carver Center. For more information, call the NHC office of admissions 281.618.5410.
