The CHI Lone Star College-North Harris School of Cosmetology is now accepting applications for its evening operator program, launching this summer, as well as its full-time operator, esthetician and instructor programs scheduled to start in the fall. Applications for all programs are currently being accepted online at LoneStar.edu/CHIschool.
The application deadline for the part-time cosmetology operator certificate, an 18-month evening program, is April 5, 2013. Classes begin June 3, 2013.
The school is also recruiting for its full-time cosmetology operator, esthetician and instructor certificate programs slated to begin this fall. One-year certificate programs are available in each specialty, and a two-year cosmetology instructor associate degree is also available. The deadline to apply for these programs is July 12, 2013. Classes meet Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., beginning August 26, 2013.
Space is limited, with approximately 35 students accepted into each program. Scholarships and financial aid are available to those who qualify. Prospective students can request additional information by calling 281.618.1169, or by visiting LoneStar.edu/CHIschool to begin the application process.
The inaugural class of the new CHI Lone Star College-North Harris School of Cosmetology began earlier this year. Students are currently attending classes at CHI’s manufacturing facility in North Houston, while construction of the school’s permanent building is underway at an adjacent site, and expected to be complete this summer.
