In the Massage Therapy program, students learn business practices and professional standards as well as health and hygiene in massage and more. The program, which prepares students to take the state exam to become a certified license therapist, includes two semesters of coursework, a summer internship to fulfill the 500 contact hours requirement, and only costs $1827 plus books and supplies. Scholarships are also available for the spring semester.
The Personal Trainer program covers the aspects of one-on-one training including marketing, program development and design, legal aspects, documentation, training methodologies and business considerations. There is an emphasis on the development and method for leading a safe and enjoyable individualized training session. Students who also take Exercise Science and CPR courses will be ready to take the National Academy for Sports Medicine certification exam. Financial aid is available for this workforce program.
