Associate Professor of Music Dr. Aaron Alon’s talented students will entertain music lovers with the April 30 Pop Songwriting Concert at Lone Star College-CyFair.

“Join us for a short concert of new songs written in popular styles, as well as the premiere of ‘War & Witness,’ a song cycle written by students in the advanced popular songwriting class,” said Alon.

The free 7:30 p.m. Thursday concert, which may contain mature language, will be held in the Recital Hall located in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress. Seating is limited, so arrive early.
