Lone Star College-CyFair welcomes Mayor Annise Parker as the 2014 commencement speaker for LSC-CyFair graduates.

Prior to becoming mayor in 2010, she spent six years as city council member and six years as city controller. She is the only person in Houston history to hold the offices of council member, controller and mayor.

Commencement for approximately 450 graduates will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 10 at the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District’s Berry Center, located at 8877 Barker Cypress.
