Registration begins Feb. 3 for tweens or teens to participate in “A Day of STEM” (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) at Lone Star College-CyFair set Feb. 17.
Designed for ages 9-15, the Harris County Public Library LSC-CyFair Branch Library will host this event that features imaginative and stimulating activities to stretch the brain, such as making a Wobble Bot, participating in an engineering competition, exploring the science of sound, and much more.
The day also includes an afternoon presentation with guest speaker Dr. Matthew Dempsey, LSC-CyFair Vice President of Instruction.
Program activities will be held from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. with lunch and snacks provided thanks to funding from the Friends of the Library.
