Lone Star College System once again ranked as one of the best college employers in the nation by the 2024 Great Colleges to Work For® program. LSCS has received this award for eight consecutive years.

The Great Colleges to Work For® program, a partnership between the Chronicle of Higher Education and ModernThink, LLC., surveyed employees at 216 colleges and universities (an 11% increase from 2023) in 10 categories. LSCS was among the 75 recipients (22 two-year institutions) selected for this year’s award. The college system excelled in five areas:

- Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging.

The Great Colleges to Work For® program is one of the largest and most respected workplace-recognition programs in the country. The survey results are based on a two-part assessment process: an institution questionnaire on employment data and workplace policies, and a survey completed by faculty, administrators and professional support staff.
