Lone Star College-CyFair is for you and now is the time! Drop by the July 19 open house for college information and to hear about the success of non-traditional students just like you!

Perhaps, having worked full time for several years after high school, you’re returning to school to pursue your interests, such as Mark Kansteiner, who just won LSC-CyFair’s Student Research Award for his paper titled “A Eunuch in Charge: Zheng He as an Emblem for the Changing Ming Dynasty” and is on the path to becoming a high school history teacher.

Or do you just a want a fresh start in life like Liam Blakeway, who overcame fear, pain and anxiety related to the aftermath of the pandemic as well as two near-death experiences? This unconventional student with a South African accent received several scholarships, earned his LSC-CyFair associate degree, was elected President of Phi Theta Kappa International and is continuing his studies at LSC-CyFair, changing his focus from radiology to a career in education helping others succeed in their academic journey.

Maybe you’re coming back to finish what you started years ago or you’re seeking a career after putting college on hold to raise your children?

Whatever your reason may be, you, your children, your family and your friends are all welcome to the come-and-go open house between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the LSC-Cypress Center located at 19710 Clay Road.
