Experience the world—at Lone Star College-Montgomery, during Global Awareness Day, on Wednesday, April 17, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., in the fountain area in front of the Student Services Center (Building C).
Attendees can enjoy free international cuisine; receive a temporary Henna tattoo; or add their artistic touch to the interactive water mural sponsored by Jerry’s Art-a-Rama. There will plenty of entertainment, including Aztec, Bali, and Flamenco dancers and a Multicultural Fashion Show featuring students in their countries’ traditional dress.
The goal of LSC-Montgomery’s Global Awareness Day is to celebrate the differences and commonalities among people with hopes to continue to build understanding and appreciation for all cultures. The Global Awareness Day bazaar is part of a week-long celebration sponsored by the International Student Organization.
