Gaze into the sky at Lone Star College-Montgomery during the annual “Star Party” on Wednesday, November 17, at 6:30 p.m., in Building A, Room 100. Dr. Aaron Clevenson, astronomy professor at LSC-Montgomery, will kick-off the evening with a special astronomy presentation, followed by an outdoor viewing of the nighttime sky from the top of the college’s new parking garage.
The evening will also feature brief student presentations on planets, constellations, the moon, and catastrophes within the solar system, as well as a special treasure hunt with door prizes for those who participate.
Students, staff, and faculty members, as well as community members are invited to attend this free, family-friendly event. No astronomy experience is required.
