Librarians Talk Tea and Plant-based Diets this January at LSC-CyFair

Start the new year with enlightening discussions of all things tea and meatless Mondays with Lone Star College-CyFair’s librarians.

The free Learning, Inspiration, Friendship and Enrichment (L.I.F.E.) programs are held bimonthly at 10 a.m. in the library meeting room, LRNC Room 131.

It’s tea time at the Jan. 8 program. Hot tea, iced tea, flavored or plain, tea has been an essential beverage for thousands of years … join Librarians Leah Stark and Jen Wyman to discuss all things tea.”

At the Jan. 22 program, “Not Vegan Propaganda: How Meatless Mondays and Veganuary Can Change the World”, Librarians Regina Vitolo and Rachel Evans for an enlightening discussion on the impact of plant-based diets on you, animals, and the planet. They will share favorite recipes and a few samples as well as information and resources needed to embark on a plant-based diet.
