If you have not taken any government classes, you need to register for GOVT 2305 or GOVT 2306, not GOVT 2301. If you have already taken GOVT 2301, you have the choice of taking GOVT 2305 or GOVT 2306 to fulfill your government requirements. If you have only taken GOVT 2302, you MUST take GOVT 2301 in the fall, spring, or summer of 2012-2013.  If you do not, you will have to take an extra course. Brand new students need to take GOVT 2305 and GOVT 2306, and it doesn’t matter which one you take first.
