The community is invited to a pair of fun fall festivals, one on Friday, Oct. 30, 6 to 8 p.m., at Lone Star College-North Harris located at 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive, and another on Saturday, Oct. 31, 6 to 8 p.m., at the Lone Star College-Carver Center located at 2330 S. Victory St.
Both events are free to the community and a fun safe alternative to Halloween trick or treating. The family-oriented events offers free candy, prizes, games, moon walks, giant slide, costume contest, and elaborate decorations. All events will be located in the colleges’ courtyards. Children, neighbors, friends and families are all invited to this 100 percent free event. All children must be accompanied by adults.
