Lone Star College-North Harris is currently accepting students for summer and fall photography courses. If you are ready to venture into the world of photography and learn how to take your photos to a new level, grab your camera and register today.
Classes are offered for those interested in either film or digital photography, during both the summer and fall semesters.
The darkroom-based classes teach the unique art and craft of film. One of the main benefits of studying film-based photography is participating in the "hands-on" darkroom experience, hand-developing film, and custom printing photographs. Camera, darkroom and photographic composition techniques are all stressed in this class.
Those looking for a more modern approach to photography should register for any of several digital photography courses available. These courses provide students the opportunity to learn camera techniques, lighting, Adobe software, image correction, printing, and color management.
Available classes range from a condensed six-week course, to full-length 14-week classes. Evening and weekend options are also being offered.
Regardless of the class, students are responsible for supplying their own 35mm film or digital SLR camera, which can be made fully manual.
