Registration is ongoing for the Tomball Veterinary Technology Student Organization's 20th annual K-9 Fun Run and Costume Contest on Saturday, Oct. 27.
Activities get under way at 7:30 a.m. with packet pick-up and late registration. The canine costume contest will be from.8: 45 a.m. to 9:10 a.m., and the one-mile race begins at 9:15 a.m. Dogs will be grouped according to weight. All dogs must have proof of current vaccinations to be eligible to participate.

Trophies will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners in each group as well as to one overall Grand Champion. The best costumed dog in each group also will win a trophy.

Registration fee is $15 through Oct. 25 and $20 thereafter. Minors entering their dogs must have parental consent. For registration information, please call 281-351-3358. Lone Star College–Tomball is located at 30555 Tomball Parkway (State Highway 242).
