Families of high school students in 9 – 11th grade can begin preparing their kids for college at Lone Star College-North Harris’ first Family Day on Saturday, April 23, from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
The day will be full of chances to win prizes, including a grand prize giveaway of a 43” Amazon Fire Smart TV, and helpful information sessions offered in both English and Spanish for parents to help them learn about LSC-North Harris and the benefits of preparing their kids for college as early as possible. Topics covered at Family Day include:
- Campus and resources
- Advising and admissions
- Financial aid
- The classroom experience
- Getting involved
