Lone Star College has named De ‘Reese Reid-Hart, Ed.D., LSC-Montgomery President. Reid-Hart will serve as the fifth LSC-Montgomery President following an extensive search.
“Dr. Reid-Hart has demonstrated integrity and the highest ethical standards over her career,” said Stephen C. Head, Ph.D., LSC Chancellor. “Her experience in providing educational and support services will have a positive and profound impact on our students.”
Reid-Hart has an administrator and leadership background that spans over 25 years in higher education. Reid-Hart was appointed Vice-President of Instruction at LSC-Montgomery in August 2020. She previously served as Dean of the Natural Science and Health Occupations Division, which she started in August 2016.
“I know Dr. Reid-Hart will provide the leadership and oversight to continue meeting the needs of all students, community leaders, taxpayers and our partner school districts,” said Head.
Prior to joining LSC-Montgomery, Reid-Hart served as Dean of Instruction and Continuing Education, Chief Student Affairs Officer as the Dean of Student Services, and Assistant and Associate Dean of Students at Kennedy-King College in Illinois.
