Lone Star College-CyFair’s Music Department will hold summer auditions for fall scholarships available for vocalists.

Students interested in choral or musical theatre should be prepared for vocalization to determine vocal range, repeat short tonal patterns which assess tonal memory, sight read a short exercise and to perform an art song or song from musical theatre.

The Music Department will provide a pianist for the auditions, but students should bring sheet music.

Scholarship auditions will be July 25 from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the Choir Rehearsal Room 106 located in the Center for the Arts building at 9191 Barker Cypress.
