Lone Star College-Montgomery’s new Maverick Transfer, Recruitment, & Career (TRAC) Center has a long list of universities and colleges that will be on campus this spring to help students transition to a four-year university or into the workforce.
Almost daily through May 2, representatives will share their university’s application process, scholarship opportunities, employment opportunities upon graduation and more. Some universities will even offer one-on-one advising sessions for LSC-Montgomery students.
Additionally, the Maverick TRAC Center will continue to offer one-on-one appointments with students, transfer preparedness workshops, and university connections and pre-visit preparation.
“We want to assist students in better defining how to transition to a university,” said Matthew Samford, faculty counselor at LSC-Montgomery. “Whether the student knows the specific university they want to transfer to or not, we can help solidify their path.”
The Maverick TRAC Center is located in the Student Services Center (Building C), Room 227. Group presentations from university representatives are held Monday through Thursday, at 1 p.m. on most days; however, advisors are available throughout the day for individual appointments.
