Come to Lone Star College-CyFair before the semester begins for help getting to know the campus and Student Life, then stay a while to meet new people and enjoy food and fun on Sneak Peek days set Aug. 25 and Aug. 27.
“We want new students to feel more comfortable and less stressed during their first week of college by helping them find classrooms and get basic questions answered before their fall classes actually start,” said Dan Mitsven, Student Life Director. “In addition, our come-and-go event will include refreshments, like popcorn and a milkshake bar, as well as activities, such as making airbrush caps and fun in our game room.”
LSC-CyFair staff and student ambassadors will help attendees get acquainted with the campus, programs, services and events. Students will learn about the new campus map app, work study opportunities, Fitness Center hours, student id process, club sports tryouts, Student Life Falcon Frenzy events and more.
Sneak Peek events are set 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27. Park in lots Y, Z and AA. Then check in at The Nest in Student Life located in the Center for Academic and Student Engagement (CASE), Building 7. For information, go to LoneStar.edu/sneakpeek.
