Lone Star College-CyFair’s Music Department presents “JazzRoots” concert Nov. 13 featuring America’s music.

“With a Big Band of 20 plus, 10 guest artists and a finale for a 40-piece jazz orchestra, this show promises to be well over the top,” said Dr. John Wolfskill, music director.

Bring the family to enjoy the college’s talented student musicians in the Jazz Ensemble playing a mix of swing, rock, blues, Latin and country music along with some special guest artists and other surprises.

The 7:30 p.m. concert will be held in the Main Stage Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students and seniors. Group discounts are available.
