In partnership with Montgomery College and The University Center, the South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber of Commerce will host its 11th Annual Texas Career Expo this year.
The event will be held at Montgomery College on Thursday, October 25, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in Building A (Commons). Sponsor booths fill up quickly, so businesses and organizations are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.
The goal is to provide employers and potential employees alike with employment opportunities in Montgomery County and the surrounding area. This year, event categories will give attendees a chance to explore career options and enhance their professional skills in three categories: Traditional Employment Opportunities, Part-time and Seasonal Opportunities, Professional Development, and Business/ Franchise Opportunities.
To date, employers participating include KSTAR Country 99.7 FM, Yellow Book USA, Best Buy, Clayton Personnel Services, EXIT Realty Group, HEB, Houston Police Department, Marimon Business, Meador Staffing, Papers by Design, LLC, Pinnacle Security, The Woodlands Financial Group, The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center, and USE Credit Union.
