Students, staff, and faculty lined up to enjoy international cuisine provided by volunteers and local restaurants; take a shot in the Houston Dynamo’s kick-and-play inflatable; get a personal design by a talented Henna artist; and dance along with the diverse entertainment line-up that covered everything from Country-Western line dancing to German Polka to Flamenco. There was also a globally-inspired art exhibit by the LSC-Montgomery art department, as well as an interactive mural sponsored by Jerry’s Art-a-Rama.
The grand finale was a multicultural fashion show of students proudly displaying their own countries’ traditional dress. All attendees left the event with an expanded view of their world and their ability to make a difference in it.
