Attend the Jan. 9 open house to start a new chapter of learning and fellowship through Lone Star College-CyFair’s Academy for Lifelong Learning (ALL) program.
With programming designed for ages 50 and better, the ALL schedule features something for working adults as well as semi-retirees and retirees. This spring, LSC-CyFair offers new and returning favorites such as “Lose Weight-Feel Great!”, “Retire Smart 101” and “Introduction to Watercolor”, just to name a few program options.
Browse the spring course catalog for details on these classes and others offered throughout the LSC system in arts and crafts, culinary arts, genealogy, health and fitness, hobbies and recreation, languages, music and theater, senior issues and technology, and more.
The $25 membership is an investment in oneself with stimulating educational classes, social activities, skills development and personal growth opportunities. In addition, there are two ways to share enthusiasm and expertise in a variety of subjects. Participate in ALL as a volunteer instructor or committee member.
Among other member benefits are free or low-cost seminars and workshops, the option to take classes in person or online at any of the LSC campuses, discount pricing on performing arts events and access to college libraries.
Attend the upcoming Thursday open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Conference Center (CENT) and bring a friend to meet instructors, check out offerings and register for new adventures in learning.
