A Lone Star College student has tested positive for COVID-19. The student contracted COVID-19 while traveling out of the state during spring break. This student has not been on college property since before March 6.
All students have been on spring break, and offices were closed, March 9-15. All LSC facilities are closed until April 6 to employees and students. All facilities will remain closed to students until April 13.
While some offices were open from March 16-18 for a few key personnel, students have not been on campus since the beginning of spring break.
Lone Star College will provide updates on this and other health matters as appropriate. LSC is committed to transparency and providing assistance at this time of need. We are working with all of our community partners, employees and students to assure the safety and health of all those within the LSC community.
