Current and prospective students are invited to discover the key to their future at Lone Star College-Montgomery’s Maverick Mania 2012, an open house event on Tuesday, March 27, from 5-7:30 p.m., in the atrium of the Health Science Center (Building B). The event is geared for the entire community—including high school juniors and seniors and their parents.
Attendees will learn more about LSC-Montgomery’s academic and workforce programs, financial aid and transfer opportunities, admissions and application process, and campus life, including clubs and intramural sports. Plus there will be campus tours, free food for the whole family, and great prizes—like a Kindle Fire, iPod nanos, LSC-Montgomery Maverick gear, campus bookstore gift cards, and more!
“The open house will showcase everything LSC-Montgomery has to offer and provide prospective students an opportunity to start planning their future,” said Dr. Austin A. Lane, president of LSC-Montgomery. “We have top-rated faculty, a plethora of programs, and a beautiful campus, all of which inspire and enable our students to meet their goals and realize their dreams.”
Additionally, representatives from Lone Star College-Conroe Center will be available at the open house to answer questions and showcase the programs, services, and now first official student organization—the History and Social Club—offered at the full-service campus in Conroe.
For easy access to Maverick Mania, attendees should enter the campus via West Campus Drive (directly across from College Park High School) and park in the college’s new five-level parking garage.
