Enjoy two instrumental evenings with Lone Star College-CyFair’s String Ensemble Orchestra and Jazz Band the last week of April.

The String Ensemble Orchestra presents "Da Capo Strings: A New Beginning" in the Main Stage Theatre at 7:30 p.m. April 28.

 Jeanette Shackelford and Jose Rocha direct the performance with themes from Dvorak's Violin Concerto, Elegy, Sakura and Concerto in G by Vivaldi.

The Jazz Band Spring Concert "Impressions" is in the Main Stage Theatre at 8 p.m. April 30.

Under the direction of Charles Carson, the band will perform works by Horace Silver, John Coltrane, Stanley Turrentine, Miles Davis, Bobby Hebb and Sonny Rollins.

The Main Stage Theatre is located in the Center for the Arts on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.
