North Harris College is hosting a Career Technology and Manufacturing Job Fair 2007 on Friday, Mar. 30, 2007, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the college’s Health and Physical Education Building, 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive, Houston. The job fair is open to the community for employers and job seekers alike.

NHC’s career technology division will be graduating students in May 2007 with AAS degrees and certificates and area businesses are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to meet and recruit qualified NHC students.

Companies are invited to actively participate in the event. There is a wide-range of sponsorship levels available. A good employer fit for this job fair would be companies in workforce-specific areas such as engineering; machining and manufacturing businesses; automotive; heating air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration; welding/inspection technology; all areas of computer information technology; truck driving; and office administration.  

The Career Technology and Manufacturing Job Fair is also the opening event for the college’s 8th Annual Career Technology Festival Weekend, which features a barbeque cook off, car shows, entertainment and demonstrations with all sponsorship proceeds going toward scholarships.
