After hearing of the damage left by Hurricane Harvey, Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York, and The American Association for Women in Community Colleges – Onondaga Chapter raised $515 to benefit Lone Star College-University Park students. 

Contributions will assist LSC-University Park students with emergency needs they may continue to face months later.

“We are grateful that the many miles and states separating our two colleges do not stand between our shared sense of community and solidarity,” said Dr. Shah Ardalan, LSC-University Park president. “Their generous gift will have a positive financial and emotional impact on our Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.”
