Gain a vivid picture of World War I through letters and poetry in the moving play “Not About Heroes” on stage Oct. 25 - Nov. 4 at Lone Star College-CyFair.

Wilfred Owen was an unknown poet when he met Siegfried Sasson at Craiglockhart War Hospital in 1917. “Not About Heroes” explores the relationship that would not only change their lives, but leave a significant literary mark on the view of World War I.

Carol Worsnop directs Stephan MacDonald’s play about two of the finest Great War poets, which will be held in the Black Box Theatre located in the Center for the Arts building at 9191 Barker Cypress

The performances are set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday – Saturday with 3 p.m. Sunday matinee. All tickets are $10.
