Dr. Chantell Hines, formerly the assistant dean for Lone Star College-Greenspoint Center, has been named the dean of academic services for LSC-North Harris. In her new role, Dr. Hines will oversee the college’s academic master plan as well as maintain a close connection and efficiency among LSC-North Harris and its two centers, LSC-Greenspoint Center and LSC-Carver Center.
“Dr. Hines has proven that she is an exceptional leader and incredibly committed to the success of our students. Her enthusiasm and work ethic will be incredibly valuable and we are fortunate to have her serve the college in this new role,” said Gary Clark, vice president of instruction at LSC-North Harris.
Prior to joining the Lone Star College System in 2008, Dr. Hines served as the director of student and career services for American Intercontinental University. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Prairie View A&M University and holds a doctoral degree in psychology from Capella University.
