Learn how to get ready for the workforce and a successful career at Lone Star College-CyFair’s next Speaking of Business Series presentation Dec. 3

In her “Workforce Readiness: Making the Best Choice for a Successful Career” presentation,

Ms. Linda Head, Associate Vice Chancellor, Workforce Education and Corporate Partnerships, will explain the importance of getting a job in the field while attending college, how to prepare for the job interview and the differences between working for small, mid-size and large corporations.

Beginning her community college career with the Lone Star College System in 1986, Ms. Head has spent more than two decades helping to develop a trained workforce for businesses and industry by developing their human capital. In addition, she assists the community by insuring the community college delivers the credit and non-credit programs that prepare our citizens for current jobs that allow them to provide a livable wage for them and their families

Ms. Head’s workforce readiness presentation will be held from 1– 2:30 p.m. in the Conference Center at 9191 Barker Cypress.

Light refreshments will be served, however space is limited.

 The free Speaking of Business Series is designed to enhance the personal and professional development of future business and community leaders.
