Get a historical and cultural overview about the Northern Mariana Islands and a delicious demo in the May Learning, Inspiration, Friendship and Enrichment (L.I.F.E.) programs at Lone Star College-CyFair.
In the May 8 “LIFE- Cultures of the Marianas” program, native Chamorro-Carolinian (Refaluwasch) Cyndi Deleon Guerrero shares a brief overview of her home islands, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. She will also talk about its history and rich Chamorro and Carolinian cultures, as well as the impact on her life’s journey and more than
22-year career in higher education.
Return May 22 for a flight of fabulous frostings and cakes during Librarian Pam Panettiere's program, "Let Them Eat Cake!" Come learn about different types of cakes and the frostings to go with them.
These free programs will be held at 10 a.m. in the library meeting room, LRNC Room 131.
