Continuing the success of their spring 2013 series, Lone Star College’s Small Business Development Center; Lone Star College-Tomball Community Library; Greater Tomball Area, Greater Magnolia, Magnolia Parkway and Houston Northwest chambers of commerce; and the Tomball Economic Development Corporation are presenting the next Business Success Seminar series for local businesses at Lone Star College-Tomball September 6, October 4 and November 1, 2013.
Three, one-hour seminars will be presented in the LSC-Tomball Community Library (room L-129) from 1:30-2:30 p.m. The series is designed to help keep local entrepreneurs up to date on the latest aspects of managing their business as well as provide a vehicle for networking and sharing experiences with other business owners.

“Google Tools for Business” is an overview of Google services designed to help businesses discover tools to perform market research, create business listings, advertise locally, analyze website traffic, and more. The presenter, Doug Mansfield, is the owner of Mansfield Marketing, a Google Certified Partner online marketing company in Houston, Texas.
“Fulfillment by Amazon” demonstrates how business owners can boost sales and service by creating and building an Amazon Fulfillment program. The speaker, David Kainer, Ph.D., is the director of the Biotechnology Institute at LSC-Montgomery and owns a successful business utilizing the Fulfillment by Amazon program.
“Affordable Care Act, You and Your Business, and HR Law Concerns” addresses the many ways the Affordable Care Act can affect businesses and answers questions about its implementation, followed by a discussion on the latest developments in employment law and a general Q&A.
