Do you have a bachelor’s degree and passion to make a difference in Cy-Fair area children’s lives? Attend a Lone Star College Alternative Teacher Certification Program (ATCP) information session to get started on your new career.

LSC-CyFair’s fall ATCP information session will be held at 5 p.m. Nov. 27 in the Center for Academic and Student Affairs (CASA), room 117.

This session will provide information on critical areas and allow potential teachers a chance to ask questions about admissions, coursework and program requirements.

ATCP students can choose an internship or clinical certification route in one of more than 45 partnership school districts. Substitute Teacher Training is also available. 

ATCP at LSC-CyFair includes five of the major classes online, including Pedagogy and Professional Responsibility, Generalist Teacher Preparation, Components of Special Education, Internship I and Internship II. For information on LSC-CyFair’s program, contact Donna Daughdrill at 281.290.3957.
