LSC was selected from a nationwide list of more than 10,000 schools by Victory Media, a veteran-owned business connecting the military and civilian worlds.
“Lone Star College is committed to ensuring our veterans and their families have the support needed to make the transition from the military to a civilian life,” said Stephen C. “Lone Star College has many programs such as College Credit for Heroes that are specifically geared toward helping vets access best in class post-secondary education,” said Steven Hall, LSC system director, veteran affairs, veteran services. “As a 25-year Air Force veteran, I can appreciate the challenges vets face when returning to civilian life and am proud of the commitment Lone Star College has made to fulfilling the needs of our military affiliate students.”
