The Lone Star College Law Enforcement Academy will hold an open house at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 6, for anyone interested in the Basic Peace Officer training program.

The event takes place at the academy, housed at Lone Star College-University Park in Building 12, Room 116. LSC-University Park is at State Highway 249 and Louetta Road.

The academy will have three classes beginning Aug. 3: a full-time class that meets Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., and two part-time classes that meet Monday through Thursday. The part-time day class is from 8 a.m. to noon and the part-time night class is from 6 to 10 p.m.

The Law Enforcement Academy will have another open house at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 13.
